PRIDE of the HUNTER

Our Club was chartered in 1956 and has grown from humble beginnings stemming from friendships formed during the clean-up operations from the disastrous 1955 floods that affected the Valley.

Our local men and women, through our fundraising efforts contribute to the bigger picture as part of the Lions International organisation which has Clubs such as ours in in 205 countries and geographic areas of the world. Monies we raise support local needs as well as national and international initiatives such as to:- conduct vision and health screenings, build parks, support eye hospitals, award scholarships, assist youth, provide help in time of disaster and much more.

Why not join us in making our communities and the world better places to live.

Becoming a Lion
