District 201N3, New South Wales, Australia

We wish to advise that the Singleton Lions Monster Book Sale which was due to be held in July 2020 at the Singleton Showground has been postponed to mid year 2021.

This decision has been made due to the current & ongoing coronavirus situation.

We will advise the 2021 Book Sale dates in due course.

The Book Sale is our major fund raising activity which enables us to donate to various groups in our community. Therefore we thank you for your previous support & look forward to your attendance next year.

Our Lions Team try to cover most long weekends and holiday periods to greet you with a smile, a chat, light refreshments and a biccie. We have been there since the start, however this means we need to cover extensive periods and need help to fill our rosters. Why not consider helping out as a volunteer. You may just save a life - wouldn't that be great - help out if you can.

We provide catering at many events throughout the year such as the Broke Village Fair, Australia Day Celebrations, sporting functions, workplace safety initiatives etc. We always seem busy and sometimes are unable to fully meet our communities needs through lack of resources. We do our best, however we need your help. Why not consider making contact with our Club after all we are only here to serve others.

We collect used glasses from our community to send overseas as part of the Lions Recycle for Sight initiative. Over the years we have collected thousands of pairs of glasses for this wonderful project. We have collection bins around our town. Keep an eye out for them and help if you can. Also Lion Anna and Adam proudly support this as well as raising funds for the NSW-ACT Lions Save Sight Foundation. If you need any info go to their Optometry Business in John Street Singleton

This statewide competition is aimed to showcase young people (male and female) in our communities. Our Club works with local schools to select a person to represent Singleton in their quest for winning this competition. Your representatives will be showcased on our website for the world to see. If you or your school would like to participate in this unique development opportunity for students in our community please feel free to contact us for further information.
